Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette – Link Here
Happy Wednesday my little lovely ones! I hope it’s a good one. Today I wanted to share my favourite highlighting palette because in all honesty, I think it deserves as many reviews as it can possibly get. The Sleek Solstice palette is currently only £10 to buy, meaning that each shade is only £2.50 (wow look at me doing math) and on the price alone it’s a real winner. I think i’ve mentioned previously how I have a bit of a highlight addiction, I genuinely hoard and collect like there’s no tomorrow and I’ve got a lot on complete different price scales, this palette beats them all.
I thought I’d give a mini breakdown on each shade because I think they all serve a different purpose but they’re equally as gorgeous. The shade in the left corner of the palette, Ecliptic, is my favourite. It’s the only cream based highlight in the palette and it’s amazingly pigmented as you can tell from my swatches. It catches and reflects the light so well, I apply this on my brow bone and a tiny bit on the tip of my nose for an everyday look because it’s very full on.
On the right of Equinox, there’s Hemisphere, which is a gorgeous pink pearly highlight which is effortlessly blended. It’s super easy to use and the right colour for a subtle everyday look. I’ve also tried applying this wet for a stronger look and it works just as well.
The bottom left shade is Subsolar, which is a banana / light yellow shade. This is the highlight I tend to wear on my cheeks for an everyday look if I’m having a simple makeup look. It’s stunning! It’s not too in your face, it blends seamlessly and it has gorgeous lasting power. I feel like with most of my highlighting palette’s the pay off is good but the durability just doesn’t seem to be there. But with this palette, I never have that problem.
Lastly, Equinox, which is a gorgeous shade for someone who has darker skin than me. I wear this if I’m wearing a full makeup look as I tend to wear darker foundation or some false tan underneath and it has a beautiful metallic sheen to compliment my tone. Plus it’s very blendable, you can’t go wrong.

If you haven’t already gave this a go I recommend you do, one of the main things I love in general about this palette is that the highlight doesn’t emphasise your pores which I find a lot of highlighters tend to do. This sits on your skin perfectly and lasts all day long. Even from the swatches you can see flash or no flash the highlight is super pigmented, for the asking price of just £10 I really don’t think you can fault this one – plus the packaging is very blog-worthy. Win win!
