March Beauty Favourites

Well hello there, I feel like I’m ridiculously late with this post but, I hope you’ve all had a wonderful month this March. I took March with a pinch of salt, because that means I’m around two months away from finishing my degree entirely and that makes me feel feel like I’m going to excited wee and simultaneously nervous vomit at the same time.

March Beauty Favourites

I feel like Velvet Spring has unintentionally took a little bit of a back seat yet again. Instagram too, before my last picture I hadn’t uploaded any content in over two weeks! Even though I had posts drafted, I’m just feeling a little out of the loop at the moment. I can’t wait to finish university and have the free time to really concentrate on what I’m creating. I’ve got so many new bodycare loves, skincare faves and vegan fancies I want to share with you all. But for now; here’s some of my beauty favourites this month.

Nars Sheer Glow in Santa Fe

Since making the vegan switch, my skin has never been better. I woke up one morning and the oily skin I suffered from literally all of my life had vanished. Like almost instantly, poof, gone. Meaning that I get on with dewy foundations so much more now. I went out on a whim and purchased Sheer Glow again and I’m so glad that I did. My skin feels like a babies bum it is so smooth. I love that even though it’s a dewy foundation, you can still build up the coverage to whatever suits so it’s perfect for casual daywear and nightwear.

March Beauty Favourites
And Other Stories, Seventh Avenue Fragrance

I was browsing in-store for Christmas presents for my Mum months ago and came across the And Other Stories Seventh Avenue Range and instantly fell in love with the scent. Even though I bought it a while back, this has been a staple for me this month. The range holds ingredients like dark tonka and sweet suede and it quite literally is heaven in a bottle. If that wasn’t enough, the packaging is gorgeous too. I got this perfume in a gift set, so I carry the mini rollerball version in my bag with me everywhere I go, I’m head over heels.

Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighter

Ok, lets be real. I’m not the kind of girl to jump on celebrity endorsements and in all honesty I’m not really a Rihanna kind of person, ja feel? But credit where credit is due for this highlight, I would genuinely jump at the opportunity to tell Rihanna how much I love this in person, it’s insane. The shade on the left, ‘Pearlescent Sheen’, is a gorgeous day glow with a peachy pink tone. The second shade, ‘Supercharged Shimmer’, is quite literally blinding.

March Beauty Favourites
Lottie Stamp Liner.

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll of probably noticed that I’m trying (mostly failing) to wear eyeliner a lot more. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but I think I’m just about getting there. My go-to has been this little Lottie Stamp liner, which is a perfect affordable dupe for the Kat Von D star liner, I mean priced at £5, you really can’t go wrong. I’ve only dared to wear the star stamp outside once, but I still love it all the same. Lottie do a whole range of stamps too, they’re very cute.

I was in your shoes this time last year too, being apprehensive of finishing University and having to start adulting. But honestly, sometimes starting full-time work can be fun too because you might get to meet a lot of people in a similar situation, and it's just like making friends at uni again haha. Good luck for your finals! I think some of the Fenty beauty stuff looks great, I've mainly seen the gold themed highlighters but I prefer the sound of this one x
